Summary: Agricor and Botanacor Laboratories tests raw materials, as well as products derived from cannabis, both marijuana for the Colorado market, and hemp for the rapidly growing market within and outside of Colorado. We provide clients with a variety of analytical as well as microbiological analyses for their raw materials (plant materials) all the way to finished products. In Colorado, Agricor is recognized as the premier marijuana testing lab and Botanacor is a market leader within, as well as, outside of Colorado. We are located in Denver, with 2 facilities and growing rapidly. We are searching for a QA analyst who wants to grow with us.
Roles and Responsibilities: Primary responsibility of the QA Analyst is to assist the Quality Assurance Director in maintaining the quality systems that have led Agricor and Botanacor to be leaders in their respective industries. This includes, but not limited to, monitoring the performance of document and procedural compliance within both laboratories. Maintenance of the controlled document system. Authoring and reviewing standard operating procedures along with other controlled documents. Maintaining a current understanding of rules and regulations from regulatory bodies such as ISO, the Colorado MED, 2018 Farm Bill, USDA IFR, and an increasing number of state hemp regulations. Verifying the integrity of data and conformance to relevant procedures prior to reporting results to customers. Provide front-line strategic quality direction to lab personnel. Write reports and investigate non-conforming work. Participate in internal and external audits by customers and regulatory bodies. Support a positive and growing work environment.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in one of the natural sciences and one-year full-time experience in a laboratory setting. A general understanding of microbiological and analytical testing processes and quality systems. Experience working within and understanding of a regulated laboratory setting.
