Job Description

Agio is a hybrid managed IT and cybersecurity provider servicing the financial services, health care and payments industries. The company has extensive experience supporting the alternative investment space, specializing in hedge funds, private equity firms and asset managers. Agio offers technology hosting, monitoring, management, helpdesk, disaster prevention and recovery, as well as managed security, 360° cybersecurity programs, virtual CISO (vCISO) support and cybersecurity consulting. 

  • Management of global Infrastructure Operations team (7+)
  • Manage 24/7/365 Infrastructure Operations on-call team
  • Consistently uphold platform available and performance service level agreements
  • Employ DevOps practices for innovative, agile and scalable practices and processes
  • Manage ITIL and ITSM best practices for service delivery excellence and systems availability, reliability and security
  • Design, build, maintain and operate Data Center Operation / Cloud Computing / Networking / Server / Virtualization / Data Storage / Disaster Recovery / Backups & Restore Technologies
  • Manage hybrid data center and PaaS (Azure) infrastructure solutions
  • Management of operational budgets
  • Identify and recommend technical and process improvements
  • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Products department leads to continually drive KPI improvements
  • Act as escalation point for global Infrastructure Operations team
  • 7-10 years management experience
  • 5-7 years MSP experience
  • Experience with with automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience solve problems by developing automation and addressing issues for 1000 devices instead of 1 device.
  • Experience Managing Distributed teams of 20 or more individuals including managing managers
  • Experience identifying universal department challenges, then developing and executing on action plans
  • Experience working in an ITIL Framework (especially Problem and Change Management)
Desired Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or relevant degree/experience
  • 10+ years leading technology teams with work experience as an information technology infrastructure manager
  • 7+ years experience supporting high-traffic operational production environments
  • ITIL knowledge and practice focused on managing mission critical systems
  • A successful track record of coaching and developing technical employees
  • Able to design and recommend the best solutions without pre-existing technology bias
  • Proven ability to identify and implement best in class solutions
  • 5+ years of experience administering a production environment (with an uptime target 99.99% or greater).
  • 5+ years of experience in a complex Linux/Windows environment.
  • The following system and application experience:
  • Highly available networking systems
  • VMware virtualization technologies
  • Enterprise-level SANs and server infrastructures
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Microsoft Windows
  • Automation/scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
  • Clustering and high availability technologies
  • Functional understanding of project management principles and their application to Infrastructure projects and teams
  • Proven ability to leverage automaton to streamline work and improve quality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong commitment to following and improving processes and procedures
  • A dedication to producing useful and detailed documentation
  • Self-motivated and able to manage self-imposed deadlines / responsibilities
  • Strong team player who excels in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated skills in planning and successfully executing complex IT projects
