JOB TITLE : Main Frame Lead
LOCATION : Hartford, CT
DURATION : Fulltime
NOTE: US Citizen, GC, H4-EAD, L2-EAD, TN VISA ONLY

Job Description :

• We are actively looking for a talented and experienced Mainframe Technical Lead who can take the ownership and responsibility to deliver high quality output.
• Self-driven individual who continuously challenge him/herself and build high performing team.

Must have :

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Application development with strong mainframe skills
• Strong knowledge and experience on COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS & DB2 technologies
• Experience on Data & Cross-System Analysis
• Working experience on parallel running Data Recoveries and 1-shots
• Business knowledge on US Personal Insurance (P&C) sector
• Strong communication, organizational and collaboration skills
• Strong co-ordination skills with ancillary groups such as DevOps, Architecture Team and other support teams
• Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Work with a global team spread across tech hubs in multiple geographies and time zones
• Ability to lead a team, multi-task and work well under pressure
• Providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance to the team

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage scope, timelines and prioritization of requirements/recoveries
• Work closely with Product owners and Business stakeholders
• Writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders
• Technically guide and direct the team to produce desired results within timelines
• Design, build, deploy the software applications in close collaboration with customer stakeholders, dependent teams
• Work with offshore and review their work to ensure quality
• Share knowledge and mentor junior resources
