IT Security Engineer

We are hiring an IT Security Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will monitor email and ticket queue to support other business units. Make firewall changes and evaluate the changes made by other team members. Monitor security logs, alerts, and tools to assist SecOps in threat hunting. Administer firewall hardware and resolves issues from the config or platform. Plan changes and projects involving all aspects of IT security. Collaborate in new IT projects and solutions to ensure secure deployment.

Must have experience/skills with the following:

• Industry Certification (GCIH, GCIA, CISSP, GSE, PCNSA, PCNSE etc.)
• IPS/IDS, packet/traffic analysis and related tools
• Information security principles and practices including but are not limited to the following areas: Vulnerability Scanning; Security Information and Event Management systems; Next Generation Firewalls; Network Intrusion; Host Based Security; Data Loss Prevention; Malware Prevention, Digital Forensics, Application Penetration Testing
• TCP/IP, Microsoft operating systems, and networks
• Programming knowledge of T-SQL (MySQL/MSSQL), PHP, Python, Perl, JavaScript, C#, HTML
• Experience with Operating Systems like Linux distributions, iOS, Android OS, macOS
• Strong experience with SIEM and SOAR tools
