One Digital Aflac/Business Relationship Management
Manager, Business Process Management
Leads the Business Process Modeling team in order to identify gaps in current state processes, develop future state processes, and design solutions to achieve business outcomes. Acts as advocates on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure digital services meet their business priorities and needs.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Drives and manages the design and building of business models for process improvement initiatives; works with cross functional teams to identify and analyze core business process and workflows; oversees the documentation of process and workflows and the development of clear and detailed process maps and business requirements, identifying issues and risk
Breaks down barriers to identify the root cause, thinks "outside the box" to generate solutions and selects the most appropriate solution through effective decision making, utilizing Aflac's Business Process Modeling Framework
Facilitates and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives; maintains appropriate communications within areas of responsibility, advising leadership accordingly; supports business unit representatives with timely and accurate information relating to systems capability
Investigates the needs of the business units with focus on the analysis and modeling of processes and rules; makes recommendations to integrate new and existing processes and rules; participates in process and rules reviews and updates to ensure that processes and systems meet changing business unit conditions; collects, analyzes and documents enterprise and business-unit specific rules
Supports business unit representatives with timely and accurate information relating to systems capability; and Collaborates with internal partners to stay abreast and aligned with implementations with configuration impacts
Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies: collects and analyzes metrics; analyzes existing processes and identifies areas for improvement; documents and models undocumented processes; creates consistent process models and adopts consistent tools and applies to existing and future documentation; ensures projects are geared toward streamlining and automating processes; provides process-modeling advice to project team members; analyzes proposed changes in processes to determine effects of changes to interrelated processes and KPIs
Leads the development and implementation of plans for achieving business outcomes; works with all relevant areas in order to create an integrated, cohesive strategy; directs the process of documenting business readiness and communications plans
Assesses impact, develops planning and executes readiness for a process change to ensure quality and service levels; assist with identifying opportunities for competency development and performance improvement; supports and provides training on process improvement methodologies
