Lecta North America is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join the team in the Southern Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers, for actively prospecting for new accounts, and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in sales, with experience in the print and packaging industry with knowledge of label products. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, communication, and decision making skills.

The position reports to the North America VP of Sales, offers a competitive salary plus performance based commission structure and an excellent benefits package.

Job Description: The candidate must:

Establish, develop, and maintain business relationship with prospective customers to generate new business for Lecta’s label products division

Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to paper merchants, printers, converters

Consult with clients to determine requirements and expectations and recommend specific products and solutions; calculate estimates to provide competitive pricing

Demonstrate a proficiency in territory analysis and be able to identify and develop new client and market opportunities; share market information with LNA team regularly

Plan and execute personal sales strategy to maximize efforts and results

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints

Monitor monthly sales activity against goals and prepare regular sales reports for company management


The candidate will:

Have a minimum of 10 years direct experience selling to executives and purchasing professionals in large national companies; preferably in the print, label, and or flexible packaging industries

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience

Have a proven track record of business to business sales success generating $10-20+ million in annual revenue

Demonstrate the ability to sell the following products: Thermal papers, Litho labels and Coated Freesheet papers.

Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close national sales

Demonstrate the ability to articulate a value proposition that directly addresses clients’ individual and distinct needs

Have outstanding multi-tasking and organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Demonstrate sound business judgment, strong decision making, and superior written and verbal communication skills

Travel within assigned sales territory up to 75% of the time prospecting and developing new business (TX, FL, AL, LA, SC, GA, MS, OK, NM, AZ, KS, TN, MO)

Have a strong customer focus and be passionate about building long-term business relationships

Have strong time management skills and work ethic to work independently

Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player
