Excellent career-building opportunity with a leading utility company, coordinating electric utility delivery to customers in the Augusta area. Duties include designing new electric service, creating cost estimates and scheduling construction projects to meet the needs of residential and business customers. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers and construction crews in order to meet service delivery dates. Additional responsibilities include participating in on-call rotation providing customer support and project management during outage events. You will be working both in the office and out in the field and, while a typical work week is 40 hours, there is a lot of opportunity for overtime, particularly during storms or outages.
This is a great position for a technically inclined individual possessing excellent customer service skills as well as strong time management, project management and organizational skills. While you will receive extensive training, prior experience in technical field support, utilities or construction would be an asset. A 2 year technical degree or 4 year degree in a non-technical field or equivalent experience is preferred.
This is a long term contract position paying $27-35/hour based on experience.
