-Manage assigned Package Development projects, working with Brand and project teams, to meet category objectives and project ship to trade dates.
-Develop, engineer, and test packaging components and modify as necessary to meet: consumer requirements, functional parameters, costing targets, manufacturing & shipping requirements.
-Execute new package designs and perform package component testing and qualification, working with suppliers, from engineering prints to models & prototypes, through to unit and production tooling.
Will utilize appropriate investigative tools (i.e. test results), good engineering design principles, and GMPs when investigating issues and recommending corrective actions.
-Work with manager to ensure the Packaging development process is functioning efficiently by assessing current processes and identifying ways to streamline or improve.
-Support product development and quality related projects: with internal functional partners and external suppliers.
-Support investigation of consumer complaints (customer/consumer) to meet applicable standard operating procedures.
-Ability to write, review, revise and approve New Packaging specifications, Bill Of Materials, Packaging Assembly Specs
-5+ years of experience as a Packaging Engineer
-1+ year of experience with Liquid packaging
-Bachelors of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineer
