Aerotek is looking for a Health Claims Processor. This person with sits within the Health Response Center.
The Health Response Center is an inbound response center - this group is considered Tier 3 within the center. They provide first contact resolution to the policyholders for all Health policy related Claims, Service, and Underwriting functions.
As a Health Claims Processor, the majority of calls taken will come from policyholders calling about a specific health policy, filing a claim, or need assistance with an already filed claim. They will also communicate periodically with agency owners and medical providers.
They will assist in explaining benefits and coverage, responsible for answering questions regarding the claim or assisting in the process of filing the claim.
There are 4 Health Products this company Offers. They will learn 1 product at a time and rotate on the floor and into the classroom for about 6 months to ensure they understand each product to its fullest.
On average the representatives will take 30 to 50 calls per day, depending upon their experience level. But again Quality is more important then Quantity - this is not a typical call center where the calls will be measured consistently.
Team members who experience the most success in these roles are attentive to detail, demonstrate empathy and manage difficult situations. Clear and concise communicator, comfortable working in a structured work environment with strong multi-tasking abilities as there are a lot of moving pieces and tasks vary for each specific call.
