Responsible for the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects
Manage and guide the onsite project teams through administrative direction of personnel, contract management, budget control, and cost adherence
Manage project engineers, superintendents and collaborates with the Head Estimator for projects
Liaise with client, architect, and engineering contacts to facilitate construction activities and create clear and attainable project objectives
Clarifies and communicates project requirements: accountable for accomplishing stated project objectives
Communicates directly with sub-contractors/designers concerning project constraints - project cost, staffing, scheduling, budget, estimates, etc.
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
Prepares project status reports for Project Executive, Vice President of construction, CM firm, and/or owner regarding status of project (chair weekly owner meetings)
Manages RFIs, change orders, submittals, budgets, estimates, costs.
Manages superintendent, project engineers, project assistants.
