Receive, store and issue bench stock, repair parts, tools and STTE, establishand make entries to and maintain stock control and accounting records for theAbrams Tank Family of Vehicles.
Establish and maintain records for bothmanual and automated maintenance management systems.
Perform HAZMAT shelflife surveillance management as requires.
Generate Reorder/Reorder Point(RO/ROP) Bench stock items, reports for inventory management.
Conductlocation accountability surveys and inventories, post to records, tools andSTTE.
Provide administrative support formilitary personnel insupport of parts ordering process.
Potential for exposure totemperature extremes in performance of duties.
Transport repair partsand/or supplies to other workers or areas using material handling equipment(MHE) or commercial vehicles, as required.
Must have a High SchoolDiploma or GED.
Will embed with unit to assist with partsmanagement.
Excellent communication skills alongwith professional demeanor that extends to all levels of the organization toinclude our customers and management.
Must be knowledgeable andexperienced with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Power Point) and beable to become proficient in Lotus Notes.
Must demonstrateability to complete programs and projects.
Able to coordinate and collaborate with other material handlersand supervision to ensure processes are aligned.
Requires minimalsupervision and capable of working independently with minimalerrors.
Acquired knowledge of company processes, products and militarytechnology.
Must be willing to train on SAMS-E, SARS, LMP andPBUSE, if required.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, work in extremetemperature and environmental conditions in assigned asphalted motor pool openarea or buildings as well as other assigned fielding areas, following prescribedOSHA rules. Must be able to work at heights and climb ladders to access, moveand deliver parts
