Job Description


The Hotel Reservation Agent (HRA) position accommodates guests with superior customer service through the inbound reservations process. The Travel Reservation Agent provides information regarding room, accommodation, rates, amenities, special packages and guest services. Also to sell, upgrade and offer additional items to enhance the guest's stay. To accurately present all information while multitasking several applications in a call center environment. POLISHED DEMEANOR , PROFESSIONAL SPEAKING VOICE AND POLITE DISPOSITION ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. BILINGUAL ALSO ENCOURAGED.


•Answer incoming reservation calls

•Follow approved script, call flow and proper phone etiquette techniques to provide a positive customer experience

•Present customers with upgrades and pricing

•Attend and satisfactorily complete all required Call Center training sessions

•Complete bookings and sell upgrades in a fast paced environment

•Communicate with management

•Validate customer data, assuring that all information is accurate

•Use defined travel resources and vendors to book reservations within a cost structure

•Complete travel reservations using multiple vendor websites and tools

•Meet defined departmental metrics

•Any additional duties as requested



•Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Ability to use Windows operating system to navigate between various screens•Ability to search multiple vendor websites to locate best option

•Highly motivated Self-starter who can also work well as part of a team to obtain company goals

•Ability to manage change effectively in a fast-paced call center environment
