Job Description

Due to sustained company growth, Advanced Tooling Specialists, located in Menasha, WI, is seeking to fill a number of CNC machinist positions on 2nd shift with possible 1st shift opportunities for the right candidate. 

  • Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)
  • Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC)
  • Mazak Lathes with Live tooling

Essential Responsibilities:

  • A willingness and ability to plan and meet performance expectations in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment
  • CAM programming capabilities a strong plus but not necessary (training opportunities for the right candidate)
  • Conversational control programming capabilities a strong plus but not necessary (training opportunities for the right candidate)
  • Set-up your own tools when necessary
  • Must be able to read blueprints and have good math skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to edit G&M codes
  • Perform setups and adjust offsets as needed
  • Be able to read micrometers, calipers, gauges and inspect work against blueprints and / or CAD Model
  • Must have own Tools
  • Driven to resolve problems and help others
  • Must have a good attitude and work well with others

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing operations with emphasis on 2D & 3D milling
  • Driven to resolve problems systematically and methodically
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience as a CNC Machinist in a machine shop environment preferred or willing to train students enrolled in applicable technical coursework.
