The successful candidate will contribute to a team working on the design and characterization of drug candidates based on nanomaterials and/or protein conjugates. This associate will work on the development of nanomaterials (e.g. lipid or polymeric nanoparticles, micelles, dendrimers), cargo encapsulation, conjugation of small molecules, peptides, proteins, or antibodies to polymeric carriers; and/or analytical characterization of complex nano-delivery products and protein conjugates.
Must possess a B.S. degree (or equivalent) and training/experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Protein chemistry
• Polymer chemistry
• Biomedical science/engineering
• Materials science/engineering
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of problem-solving, good organizational habits, excellent communication skills, the ability to work under timelines, and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
