Advanced Solutions International (ASI) has an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join our hybrid work team in Austin, Texas or Alexandria, Virginia! ASI is a well-established and well-regarded software company focused on helping not-for-profits grow revenue, reduce expenses, improve performance, and engage and serve members and donors through innovative membership and fundraising software solutions.  

 About our position

As an HR Manager, you will be a key member of the HR team, supporting the daily functions of the HR department and partnering with ASI’s global management team to maintain a competitive, compliant, engaged, and valued workforce.  You will develop, implement, manage and evaluate HR programs, policies, and practices to execute effective programs for talent acquisition, engagement, retention, growth, and development of all employees, including compensation planning, annual performance reviews, and individualized performance improvement plans. You will also work closely with managers to evaluate and respond to personnel issues and counsel employees and managers to resolve issues appropriately.  You will help maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements within the HR function.

What we want you to have

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Six+ years of experience in HR with broad knowledge of HR best practices and willingness to lend a hand across multiple areas of a global HR department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership in driving business results
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of people in a fair and consistent manner
  • A self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Process-oriented with the ability to drive a project to completion
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Solid HR fundamentals and thorough knowledge and understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to design and implement full-cycle performance management programs, including compensation administration, annual performance evaluations and individualized performance improvement plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficient with or the ability to quickly learn ADP Workforce Now

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in HR management, preferably in a high-tech environment  
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience working on global teams and addressing the global needs of an international workforce
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
