Residential Maintenance Technician

You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. $20 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smoothly and eliminate safety risks
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced

• Perform the following repairs: light electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits; light plumbing work, such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings; replacement and repair of broken glass, tile, screens, draperies and locks; carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing and building shelves and refinishing floors

Qualifications:

• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

• Experience in a similar role, such as residential property management. Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction will also be considered
