What are we looking for:

ANM is looking for a Managed Services Network Consulting Engineer, who will be responsible for the operational support of multiple customers, executing technical configurations, and troubleshooting on designated infrastructure equipment listed in the Service Catalog. As a member of the Network Team, you will have the opportunity to work on the Network, Datacenter, and Security technologies and serve as the escalation point for all lower-level Network Engineers and Technicians under the direct control of the Network Team Manager.

The candidate will be expected to interact with customers, peers, and management via phone, WebEx, video, and email to ensure customer issues are resolved per contracted SLAs.

What you will be doing as a Network Consulting Engineer:

  • The Network Engineer will participate in the Incident Rotation and Incident Escalation.
  • Responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining network technologies that directly support Datacenter, Security, and Network technologies.
  • Firm background, experience, and working knowledge of the routing and switching protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RSTP, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, and VPN.
  • Manage Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, Cisco Nexus, ISE, DNAC, CDO, and similar platforms. The Engineer will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the system's operation and make recommendations for implementation and improvement.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operation of various network solutions, including hardware/software support, training, and special projects; plans, designs, and implements data connectivity in networks.
  • Provides network and remote connectivity hardware/software support
  • Develop and manage any related/required infrastructure documentation
  • Assists in installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software; analyzes and troubleshoots the logs and tracks the nature and resolution of problems; monitors usage to ensure the security of data and access privileges.
  • Researches, analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves Network problems; develops, maintains, and implements network support procedures.
  • Maintains excellent communication with the Network Team Manager and Network Technical Lead on all tasks, incidents, or projects.
  • Responsible for communicating with customers, peers, team, and managers regarding incident and change management.
  • Create, write, and maintain technical processes and procedures.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation and may be called to work off-hours to support customer escalations.

  • Required to work with our customers, peers, and managers to ensure the on-time and proper delivery of our services, meeting the needs of our customers and our company's standards.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • CCNP Routing and Switching / Enterprise or Security level are required or willing to obtain within the first semester of work.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Networking or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-4years of management of network (WAN and LAN) designs and topology drawings.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of network configuration management while providing ongoing planning of IP infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience working with dynamic EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS
  • Hands-on experience working with Remote Access and Site-to-site VPN, Access Policies, NAT, PAT
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining, utilizing, and troubleshooting Cisco Route/Switch Platforms
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus Platforms
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining, using, and troubleshooting Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC Platforms
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining, managing and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki


PREFERRED EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience maintaining, utilizing, and troubleshooting Cisco DNA Center
  • Experience maintaining, using, and troubleshooting Cisco Defense Orchestrator
  • 2+ years of Experience maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting Cisco ISE
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco SDWAN
  • Experience maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
  • Good verbal communication skills, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
  • ITIL Foundations is highly desired but not required
  • ServiceNow ticketing system experience is highly preferred but not required
  • LogicMonitor monitoring system experience is highly preferred but not required


Travel:
Travel may be required for this position. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and motor vehicle insurance.
