Project ManagerAdvanced Input Systems, AIS, located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is a leading design and manufacturer of Human Machine eXperience (HMX) Products and Solutions for a broad range of markets and applications.Our growing team has a rare opening for an energetic Project Manager to help drive activities through our New Product Introduction (NPI) and Concurrent Development Processes, with direct responsibility for the projects, teams, and customers between Project Kick-off and Pilot Production.This opportunity is ideal for individuals that have a strong passion and experience for employing a Systems Engineering mindset to lead technology projects and associated teams; and doing so while driving and fostering a great culture.Our business develops Standard Products and OEM Custom solutions consisting of electro-mechanical HMI assemblies, including medical and industrial display interfaces, touchscreens, control panels, virtual reality wearables, and infection control... products.This critical position leads cross-functional teams, collaborates broadly with internal AIS organizations at all levels, and acts as the primary customer interface.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall management of product development projects from conception through early productionActs as the primary technical and business lead for AIS internal and customer development teamsDrives our organization's project activities in alignment with AIS New Product Introduction (NPI) process, based on Concurrent Development methodologiesWorks with the team to develop business case justifications and project proposals including scope of project, technical architecture, investments and project planManage the triad: Scope, Cost, TimeLeads Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing and Test, Reliability, PCB engineering functions and activities assigned to the project.Drive Agile SCRUM teams based on project needOwn system level design reviewsBOM and Engineering Change Order (ECO) management during pre-productionPrototype, Alpha, and Beta build management and associated stage-gate approvalsManage customer relationship, expectations and customer accountabilityInnovate by driving continuous improvement changes throughout our processes and businessCandidates for this position should have the following qualifications:Engineering or Technical background desired given the nature of our capabilities and product portfolioPreferred experience with Concurrent Engineering and Manufacturing EnvironmentsMS-Project and other collaboration tools experienceAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, vendors, and factory teamsFamiliarity with CE, UL, FCC, ISO 13485, etc. agency requirementsFluent in Risk Assessment and ManagementFamiliarity with Reliability Engineering methodologies including FMEA, worst case, stress, durability analysis and HALTSelf-starter, highly motivated, extremely collaborative, and can implement changeBachelor's degree (BS/BA) required and a minimum of 5 years project management experience or equivalent work experience.Advanced degree, for example an MBA, a plusMust be willing to work out of the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho office.This is not a remote-work position.Must be a US person.Due to US Military and Defense contracts, we are unable to consider non-US persons for this role.Product Managers and Project Engineers with relevant experience may be considered for this role, which could offer hybrid job functions depending on experience.You should apply if:You want to live, work and play in North Idaho with its abundance of natural resources to support outdoor recreation all year!You are humble (i.e.
