• Advanced Innovative Solutions is looking to hire an experienced AMT Structures Mechanic to join our team.
• Must have wide body and or narrow body experience. working on different platforms to include Boeing, Airbus, Embraer aircrafts etc.

Responsibilities

• Shearing/cutting and fabrication of sheet metal within tight tolerances.
• Perform layout and transfer hole pattern techniques on manufactured parts by using scribe and punch tools.
• Frequently complete rivet installations and removals.
• Perform assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) support for components and other aircraft-worthy parts.
• Operation and potential maintenance of shop equipment including shears, brakes, drills, grinders, etc.
• Proper use of measuring equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.
• Understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, and original equipment manufacture (OEM) manuals, along with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. OSHA, FAA, ISO/AS, etc.).
• Maintain safe and orderly working area conditions.
• Must have your own tools.
• Must be able to use appropriate technical data and performs disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components and company special tools and ground equipment.
• Read and interprets manufacturer's and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to work in the U.S.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have 3+ years of experience as an aviation structures mechanic working MRO environment.
• A&P License is Preferred but not required.

Compensation

$25 - $35 hourly
