Job Title: Sales Representative

Reports To: LV Sales Manager and VP of Sales

Purpose: The Purpose of this role is to support AIS's purpose of providing technology that works for our clients and revolutionizes their business while providing service they'll fall in love with.

Major Goals:

  1. Own the entire customer experience with/across multiple products. Evaluate and challenge existing status quo to identify new ways to improve processes and continually elevate the customer experience
  2. Assist businesses and their major stakeholders to buy/rent various AIS products/services
  3. Develop and cultivate new clients as well as keep current clients happy

  3. Being rejected and meeting sales quota consistently or above target goal

Job Functions: The Sales Representative is a critical member of our sales team responsible for exemplifying our culture, managing and prospecting clients, and knowing the products AIS sells.

Daily tasks include but not limited to:

  • Prospecting for new business opportunities-this includes, but is not limited to cold calling, in person visits, data mining on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and online research
  • Performs complex business analyses of customers' document output and workflow requirements, including total cost of operation (TCO) assessments
  • Develops proposal and presentation strategies to meet and exceed customers' requirements and expectations
  • Achieves revenue and profit growth objectives by utilizing this consultative approach to secure new customers and develop existing MPS accounts
  • Proactively develops new customer contact through networking and prospecting, review leads, and participates in customers' strategic planning sessions
  • Keep current on new product developments, market competition and industry trends-provides feedback as appropriate
  • Actively develops pricing for Managed Print Services opportunities (within AIS guidelines)
  • Plans and consults within a team-based work environment to coordinate customer-facing activities
  • MUST maintain records in Company CRM of all account activities and prospecting activities
  • Participates in the development of the annual business plan for Managed Print Services and suggests adjustments to the Plan as required
  • Optimize printer environment of existing accounts
  • Seeks opportunities to provide solutions to new and existing customers
  • Seek out new opportunities and expands and enhances existing opportunities to build and manage the pipeline in specialty area
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry
  • Manages existing accounts, conduct quarterly business reviews, drives additional sales with existing accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

  • General working hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with limited absences/tardiness. Additional hours as required to complete objectives. Attend occasional networking events, webinars, and training
  • Travel as needed to support AIS' office locations, customers, and industry events
  • Deliver on Company mission, vision, and core values

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 4+ year's retail sales experience and/or recent college graduates looking to transition to a sales career with tremendous earning potential
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365, and Salesforce
  • General business acumen with strong self-motivation and competitive spirit
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license with auto insurance
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be an excellent relationship builder
