Job Description

Production Supervisor – Image, Solder Mask

Description: A team leader and area supervisor responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly success of the Image and Solder Mask production areas. A successful production supervisor will create a positive and goal oriented team environment, focus on quality and process adherence, and develop those on their team to achieve higher levels of capability. They will also strive to be an expert in the processes they oversee and be capable of stepping in when needed. 45+ hours per week. Reports to the Production Manager. Primarily a dayshift position but must have frequent contact with off shift teams.

Responsibilities:

· People

o Lead, coach, correct, and develop the members of the department in order to meet or exceed production and quality goals.

o Develop and foster a goal oriented team environment

o Collaborate and interact with other departments

o Train and certify new and current operators

· Product

o Follow production schedule and ensure work is processed correctly and in a timely manner

o Order materials and supplies required for the operation of the area

o Read and understand customer technical prints

· Equipment

o Schedule, oversee, and verify preventative maintenance and its effectiveness

o Become proficient in the operation of the manufacturing equipment

· Process

o Find and resolve weak points within the area

o Promote a culture of safety, quality, and process adherence

o Audit to ensure process adherence and daily, weekly, monthly, etc. logs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance are completed accurately.

o Assisting Engineering with procedures and supporting or driving process evaluations

Desired Skills, traits, and experience:

· Effective verbal and written communication skills

· Team leadership experience

· Excellent organizational skills

· A “whatever it takes” mentality

· 4 year degree preferred

· Microsoft office proficiency

· PCB manufacturing experience

· Continuous improvement experience

· Royal 4 Production Scheduling System
