Full Stack Developer with C# and JavaScript (fully remote)

Advanced Automation Consulting Charlotte, NC

  • Expired: over a month ago. Applications are no longer accepted.
Job Description

AAC is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their client's growing team. This is a direct-hire (perm) position including salary and full benefits with our client. The position is fully remote at this time.

Developers build the interfaces, code and documentation to create the various products sold by the company. This means they must understand the business requirements for features to which they will be assigned, understand the technology stack upon which these features will be built and can successfully code and document their work. We follow a test-driven methodology, so developers are expected to be able to write and maintain unit tests that can be automated during the build process.

CODE DESIGN – Developers are required to design code for which they are responsible. This means quality, reusable classes in the required language. These designs must be optimized for speed, accuracy and maintainability to allow other developers to quickly understand their code. They must be able to collaborate with their peers while doing these designs as often quality designs are shared between teammates working on the same project.
UNIT TESTING – Developers will follow a test driven coding methodology where unit tests for the features they develop are part of the code, estimate for building the code and can be automatically run during the build process to ensure that all unit tests pass before providing the code to the QA team.
TROUBLESHOOTING – Developers are expected to be able to work closely with their testing team members to find and resolve defects found.
COLLABORATION – The development environment is intentionally collaborative where team members are expected to work together to meet customer requirements. Developers should have a history of working closely with other teams and providing and receiving honest but kind feedback on how code is designed, written and tested.

TECHNICAL SKILLS – Successful candidate must have the ability to design and code in any object-oriented language. We prefer C# and JavaScript but will consider other object-oriented language commercially used. They must have experience designing, coding and testing enterprise grade systems of significant complexity across multiple tiers common for web applications.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS – Successful candidate must have experience writing clear and relevant documentation which share design concepts with team members. They must be able to work closely with other developers reviewing their designs and code; providing relevant written and oral feedback to improve the team’s output.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS – Successful candidate must have experience working in cross functional teams with successful results based upon collaboration. They must have the personality to resolve conflict, hold people accountable and encourage maximum effort from team members.
AGILE EXPERIENCE – Successful candidate must have some experience working on agile projects and understand the premise, strengths and weaknesses of the agile software development process.
