We have a fantastic job opportunity to work as a Maintenance Mechanic in Gilroy, CA, providing essential and sometimes unscheduled repairs for a company that offers excellent services and treats you like family!
Job Duties:
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance repairs of equipment during service periods.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs, including but not limited to:
- Optical Sorters
- Laser Sorters
- Ozone Generators
- Bagging Machines
- Vacuum Packing Machines
- Food Processing Scales
- Metal Detectors
- Bucket Elevators and Belt Conveyors
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals.
- Reads and responds to work orders required for maintenance and services.
- Reports potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance lead.
- Makes safety a priority and complies with OSHA safety and Health rules.
- Assists production personnel as required to maintain good manufacturing processes and a high-quality food safety program.
