Job Title: Decorator / Painter / Screen Printer

Job Type: Permanent full-time

Shifts: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30 PM, M-F

Number of Positions: One

Experience Preferred: 2-5 years. Will train as necessary.

Daily Duties:

-Review mfg. orders and paint specs to determine job requirements

-Interpret mfg. shop orders with CAD drawings

-Good Knowledge of materials used in the manufacture of our products

-Set up and operate spray painting stations/equipments

-Clean parts prior to painting

-Coordinate with other departments on daily scheduling

-Mask parts with tape for screening and/or spray painting

-Mix inks and paints for color matching

- Proficient in hand sanding

-Able to make speciality jigs and devices as necessary

-Spray paint / screen parts to customer’s specifications

-Attention to detail, meet quality and production standards

-Maintain clean work environment

-Ensure that equipment is in good working order, change filters and clean guns

Required skills and abilities:

-Read/write/comprehend English

-Ability to match colors

-Detail oriented

-Read/interpret CAD drawings

-On feet for long periods of time

-Able to lift up to 60 pounds

-Work independently

-Meet tight deadlines

-Mechanically capable with good hand/eye coordination

Tools and equipment used include:

-Spray gun

-Screen

-Squeegee

-Mixer

-Scale

-Chemicals, inks and paints

-Must wear respirator mask at specific times
