Job Description

Founded in 2005, Growth Centers of America network of treatment programs are rapidly growing mental health care companies dedicated to making a difference for our clients, the community, and our employees. We offer an array of mental health services to adolescents and adults with serious mental illness. We partner mostly with insurance companies to provide excellent care to its members. We are actively seeking a medical assistant to work in our residential program. Specific Responsibilities:

Pass medications at the specified time to clients in the program

Count medications and log each time medications are passed

Take daily vitals for all clients to ensure that they are within in normal limits

Conduct intakes with new clients and welcomes new families

Train all new MAs that come in, and leads, trains, overall team members to ensure proper training of company policy and protocols.

Adhering to the daily milieu schedule at all times and email management of any program falling behind schedule

Serve as a positive role model to treatment staff, employees, clients, guests, and the public at large through a positive, caring, and professional attitude

Maintain the confidential nature of clients and related activities

Maintain an overall understanding of clients and serve as a calming supervising presence to give instruction in the event that there is a crisis

Ensure facility supplies are replenished before they are depleted.

Ensure facility vehicles are in good working condition and are fueled up at all times

Ensure services are in keeping with the Company’s Goals.

Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:
• Two year managerial experience (Required)

• 1 year of experience with adolescents (Required)
• CPR and First Aid (Required)

• Must hold certificate/diploma from accredited Medical Assistant program (Required)
