Job Description
Technical Writer for Electrical & Mechanical Engineer Training

This is a full-time position working on site that includes participation at client meetings and attendance at vendor presentations.

The role will at times also require you to interact with sub-contractors, lead employee and sub-contractor trainings, as well as audit training sessions in the capacity of our company representative for employees and subcontractors.

More typically you will be in charge of evaluating and customizing training materials from various sources and endeavoring to create original technical publications.

You should respond to this job posting if you consider your primary professional strength as the ability to comprehend complex subject matter, anticipate pertinent questions and write with efficiency to convey key concepts and facts.

If hired, you can expect to be working with engineering illustrations, photos, documents, and real-time observation to create training manuals as well as other technical publications with an electrical engineering focus that covers topics such as system interface and integration, installation, maintenance, equipment removal and additional procedures. You'll be making decisions such as identifying illustration and digital photography needs and communicating with art production personnel to assure the authoring of quality publications.

Strong MS Office skills required.

Electrical Engineering degree helpful (though not essential) if your experience indicates an affinity for this opportunity.
