Location: Salt Lake City, CO
Salary: $125,000 - $150,00

The role of the Senior Project Manager is to serve as an ambassador and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closing. The Senior Project Manager supervises
and directs project resources to deliver value effectively and consistently to the customer. Responsible and accountable for strategic alignment and the execution of corporate operational processes to drive the timely delivery of safely completed project work that exceeds quality expectations and is compliant with contract documents, schedule, and budgets.


The role of the Project Manager is to serve as the site ambassador for local resources to effectively and consistently deliver value to the client. This position requires extensive experience managing the infrastructure installation of large multi-million new construction mission critical data centers. Responsible and accountable for strategic alignment and execution of operations to drive timely project completion in accordance to budgeted scope, schedule and cost while exceeding safety and quality expectations.

  • Manage assigned projects in accordance with schedule that supports favorable performance indexing that meets or exceeds the expectations of the project plan.
  • Effectively manage subcontractor / vendor performance to ensure compliant project delivery.
  • Provide progress updates, reports, and performance metrics per contractual requirements and customer requests.
  • Manage installation strategies to ensure the most effective industry best practices and means and methods are leveraged to complete the project on schedule and within budget.
  • Responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed timely, efficiently, and correctly.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of assigned projects and expected to manage all costs that ensure favorable earned value performance.
  • Oversees and presents project cost metrics and reports as required or requested in defined timelines.
  • Manages organizational resources to control variables that contribute to project costs such as labor, materials, and equipment packages to comply with project schedules and contract documents.
  • Cultivate and foster positive relationships with teammates, customers, and vendors to maintain, secure and expand business opportunities.
  • Evolve with continuous organizational improvements that sustains business scalability in support of perpetuated best in class services.
  • Develop resource plans and evaluate needs in conjunction with project requirements.
  • Partners with internal and external teams to provide subject matter expertise related to estimating, construction feasibility and value engineering.
  • Embraces and leverages companies' construction technology platforms, automation, and software to drive safety, quality, efficiencies, and cost savings.
  • Fosters an innovative culture across the business to empower employees to seek out unique and applicable solutions for existing challenges that provide opportunities to optimize processes.

  • Manage project in accordance to P6 scheduling metrics and maintain SPI within client expectations.
  • Set expectations for subcontractor/vendor performance and drive efficiencies for project activities.
  • Provide progress updates, reports and metrics as per contractual requirements and client requests.
  • Manage installation strategies in conjunction with the local operational personnel to ensure project is delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure coordination with PE to facilitate project close-outs are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.

  • Complete post-project walk through ensuring the customer's quality expectations have been met or exceeded.
  • Oversee the development of all project closeout documents (As-Built drawings, Test Results, Continuous Improvement, etc.)
  • Follow up with Customer and General Contractors to close projects out quickly and efficiently.

Account Management
  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationship to maintain, secure and expand business opportunities.
  • Evolve organizational structure to successfully execute build contracts based on project scope, scale, complexity, client expectations and support business sustainability.
  • Develop resource plan and evaluate needs in conjunction with site resource requirements.
  • Manage job cost/profitability and schedules through systems, processes and reporting.
  • Work with customer teams to meet master schedule such as providing specific work dates for scheduled items.
  • Track overall project status, evaluate cost vs. performance to ensure projects come in on time and within budget.
  • The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required.
