Job Title: Sr. Payroll Specialist - Lead
Location: Minneapolis, MN - Western Suburbs
Pay: up to $75000 / year dependent on applicable experience

Our client located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis has an immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has at least 5 years working as a Payroll Lead or an Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience processing, resolving and issuing multi-state payroll and experience with various payroll systems. The salary range for this role is $75000+ annually with a bonus.
Responsibilities include:
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-state payroll experience
- Minimum of 3 years UltiPro, ADP Workforce Now, and working with multiple payroll systems
- CPP is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous payroll implementations experience is required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Knowledge of all payroll taxes for multi-state

Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the assisting with the day-to-day payroll ensuring the processing of timely and accurate payroll
- Previous experience processing multi-state payroll up to 2,500 employees
- Ensures timely and accurate preparation of payroll operations working closely with the HR and Payroll teams to ensure payroll compliance
- Assist with all implementations, verification of information, meeting deadlines, and working with all line managers to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Oversee the use of standard process workflows by team, develop action plans to meet implementation goals
- Knowledgeable of employment policies and government regulations in connection with payroll activities and make recommendations on modifications to management as appropriate
- Maintain all payroll records, reports, compliance and audits are reported correctly
- Work with mangers in multiple states regarding inquiries, issues and procedures affecting payroll and HR
- Create and run reports as requested by internal and external contacts (Pension, 401k, Workers Comp, audits, etc.)
- Full knowledge of all Federal, State and Local tax accounts is required and miscellaneous special projects or additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
