Chief Technology Officer

As the CTO you will be responsible for the technical vision and architecture of the organization. You will develop and execute the technology strategy of the company in line with the company’s business strategy, and with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and profitability. The ideal candidate can motivate teams, lead, and be innovative. Looking for someone with a VP of Engineering / Software Development / Chief Architect background that has worked in the energy/oil/gas industry.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Technical leadership and management in energy/oil/gas industry
• Modern day software development knowledge
• Experience leading a migration from on prem to the cloud
• Understanding of data models. Client is using a unified shared model and rearchitecting while moving into the cloud
• This is not a hands-on role, but individual must be architecturally aware
• Experience managing offshore vendors
• Implement best practices and guideline to continually improve performance and scalability
• Advise team on code quality, technical decisions and accompany them during the realization of concepts, both functional and technical

• Mentor and provide feedback to technical team members
• Strong leadership and communication skills
