As a Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst, you provide the primary financial analysis to the leadership teams to help drive operational efficiencies and develop business cases to evaluate significant capital investment.

Advanced experience and/or formal background in finance and/or the manufacturing and supply chain sector of business operations is required. A plus is experience with standard costing, manufacturing processes, warehouse operations, and/or retail finance, both theoretical and practical.



• Provide support to Business Unit leadership team and warehouse/plant directed initiatives/studies

• Provide in-depth analysis of financial/operational performance versus plan and forecast.

• Develop balanced scorecard and financial dashboard for operations

• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, following through on issues promptly

• A collaborative team member responsible for producing monthly reports, including key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting

• Proficient Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks Desktop, or SAP Netsuite

• Thorough understanding of financial compliance and laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Continuous improvement activities impacting people efficiency, process effectiveness, technical tool utilization, and automation. Identify opportunities to improve operational performance using best practice analyses.

• Provide analytical support to management on ad-hoc projects and value-added improvement initiatives.

• Develops complex sensitivity, trend and profitability analyses, and predictive modeling and forecasting

• Conducts complex data mining and other quantitative analysis.

• Participates in the development of advanced analytic tools and models (predominantly in Microsoft Excel) requiring ingenuity, creativity, and short deliverable timeframes ("build from scratch")

• Interprets results and recommends solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency/quality

• Presents results of analyses and recommendations to management and users

• Responds quickly to requests for specific, customized ad-hoc financial reports

Education Level:

4-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required.

MBA and/of FP&A, or CPA, preferred.

Background in finance in manufacturing or supply chain sectors of business operations

Experience Level:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning, and budgeting is preferred in a major consumer product manufacturing company.

• Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI Desktop and other systems

• Strong ability to understand and interpret business strategy and implement actionable recommendations
