Job Description

Scientific innovation/biotech company is currently looking for an experienced IP Paralegal to join their team.  This is a great opportunity to jump on board a team devoted to scientific development striving for a safe world. 

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (additional Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required), and at least three years of experience handling complex litigation in patent or sophisticated intellectual property disputes with a major law firm or in-house legal department.  In addition, must have at least 2 years of experience working within eDiscovery, garnering a familiarity with custodianship, civil procedure rules on discovery, and eDiscovery tools and platforms. 

Main duties will include:

- supporting litigation teams both within in-house legal department and outside counsel.

- Management of litigation projects (holds, document collection, review/production, depo prep, searches, and court filings)

- Supporting the IP and other legal departments

- Managing case deadlines, files, and records.  Coordination of case teams and departmental meetings on responsible matters.
