As an Operations Associate, you will assist Ada’s entire sales and production cycle:
Performing intake, inspection, videoing, and/or photographing jewelry and diamonds
Supporting our Inventory Manager by organizing and managing inventory
Shipping loose diamonds & finished jewelry to clients
Measuring and adding melee diamonds to inventory
Managing shipments for fabrication orders, inter-office transfers, and diamond returns
Running errands based on the needs of the team
Supporting office and administrative needs
The ideal candidate is:

Comfortable and not intimidated by working with millions of dollars of diamonds on a daily basis
Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Honest, personable, and someone of high integrity
Able to handle multiple workflows and processes
Operates with a sense of urgency and can improvise and think on his or her feet
Works autonomously and proactively, managing his/her own pipeline
Required Qualifications
New York City resident
Some college or Bachelor’s Degree required
At least 2 years of work experience in operations, sales support, or luxury goods
Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and workflows
Highly proficient with Gmail and Google Apps
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Gmail, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office products
Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies and workflows
Desired Qualifications
No jewelry background is required, but luxury or retail experience is preferred
Basic photography experience
Experience with database technologies such as Excel and Salesforce
Experience with communication technologies such as Slack
Logistics & Compensation
Full-Time Role
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (hours may change depending on workload)
This role requires in-person, hands-on time with diamonds and jewelry and is not a work-from-home role
Based out of Ada’s NY location in midtown Manhattan
This role requires in-person hands-on time with shipments, diamonds, and jewelry and is not a work-from-home role
