Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic ad agency. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our senior team members and Creative Director to produce visually appealing and high-quality designs across various digital and print media platforms for our clients. You will be responsible for brainstorming visual concepts, designing graphics, creating layouts, and communicating your ideas to the rest of the team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the senior design team and project managers to conceptualize and develop creative design solutions that meet the client's requirements
Create and design original graphics, logos, and other artwork using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software based on the client’s brand guidelines and specifications.
Develop layouts, wireframes, and storyboards for website design or other multimedia projects as required.
Present design concepts and ideas to clients and manage revisions to ensure satisfaction of client needs.
Ensure timely completion of projects, meeting deadlines, and adhering to established design standards and requirements.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in graphic design and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements to design work.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or a related field from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an advertising agency or creative environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present design ideas and concepts to clients and team members.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
A portfolio of relevant work that demonstrates creativity, design skills, and problem-solving skills.
Basic video editing skills for social media content (Adobe Premiere, Avid, or other professional video editing software NOT required)
Bonus Points:
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
Proficiency in Canva
Proficiency in Figma
Social media samples in your resume
