Job Description

A global automotive part manufacturing company is actively seeking an Account Manager to join their team near Huntsville, AL. A successful candidate has excellent communication skills and has knowledge in account management and business development.

Responsibilities of Entry Level Account Manager – Industrial Equipment 

·       Maintain the relationship with existing clients

·       Analyze the automotive market and establish new sales strategies - forecasting, market trend direction etc

·       Participate in system installation and manage the process

·       Manage assigned accounts and ensure customer satisfaction

·       Manage and handle customer complaints with other department and perform root cause analysis

·       Visit customer on-site for sales activities and for maintaining business relationships if necessary

·       Negotiate cost, timeline, technical specification etc., and provide consultation as needed

·       Support projects to ensure the project timeline, customer satisfaction, and quality standard

·       Participate internal sales meetings to communicate thoroughly with other locations internationally as arranged

·       Create sales reports by using MS Excel and the company's system and report to upper management periodically

·       Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Entry Level Account Manager – Industrial Equipment 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Experience in business setting is a plus but not required
  • Availability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
  • Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
  • Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
