Car Audio Head Unit Systems Engineer

A global IT Trading Company in the Plano, TX area is looking for an experienced Car Audio Head Unit Systems Engineer. This position is a contract-based position.

Car Audio Head Unit Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Analyze current audio functionality and provide proposal for improvement
• Manage equipment setup, vehicle testing & performance testing
• Conduct testing, review/analyze testing data, and follow up activities for any detected issues
• Responsible for spec review, end-to-end test coverage analysis
• Work on Agile work environment

Car Audio Head Unit Systems Engineer Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in QA of head unit systems, such as Bluetooth, handsfree calls, navigation functions, etc.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Python, LabView, etc.) and testing is plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar fields
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment
• Hybrid work style: need to be on-site 1-2 days per week
