Job Description

Actia Electronics, an electronics manufacturing Supply Chain Solutions Company, is a successful and growing organization that is expanding at a very fast pace both domestically and internationally. We are a key link in supply chains worldwide, with a broad and diverse range of services from simple Printed Circuit Board assemblies to product engineering, testing and development. We operate in multiple spaces including Automotive, Medical, Military and Industrial.

Actia Electronics is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in our Romulus, Michigan office. This critical role is responsible maintaining all of the mechanical and technical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of skills in a variety of areas including climatization, electrical, mechanical and energy distribution rules. Excellent problem solving and proactive instincts are critical for success in this position. General understanding of IT infrastructure /networking helpful as well as exposure to health and safety rules along with other basic industrial concepts. Other responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance:
  • Adherence to precise preventative maintenance requirements from the manufacturer, as well as the ability to perform/follow corrective and condition based maintenance guidelines.
  • Follow drawings and diagrams for equipment’s positioning and connections
  • Repair interventions
  • Building Infrastructure:
  • Perform the action plan to maintain the plant functionalities
  • Specifications, Drawings, safety and environmental rules
  • Provide day-to-day support
  • Maintaining software system upon completion of these tasks and prepare reports.
  • Extensive day-to-day technical autonomy; work with the manufacturing team to make process development decisions.


Required Education: Technical electric/pneumatic/hydraulic experience; Degree or equivalent

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong mathematical skills including computing percent, ratios, and fractions

Ability to read drawings and work instructions

Basic computer skills

Ability to work with small tools

Well organized

Ability to work well independently or as part of a team

Maintain good attendance/OT flexible
