Acro is seeking a Staffing Specialist/Recruiter to join our growing team in Pueblo, CO.  Candidates with prior light industrial/commercial staffing experience are strongly preferred.  This will be a fast-paced, high-volume role.  If you excel in providing excellence in service and connecting people with opportunity, then we want to hear from you!  While you will be working on-site at our client's location this is a direct-hire, full-time position as a member of Acro's corporate team.  Acro has been a leader in the staffing industry for over 40 years and is consistently recognized among the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation!

SUMMARY

Working on-site at our client's location you will provide exceptional customer service to both contract workers and our client. Work to process client orders; recruit contractors for various temporary positions. To maintain and continually improve current relationships client and contract employee base by providing support and employee relations services. To raise the level of contract employee satisfaction with Acro, while minimizing negative turnover. Ideally, we are looking for someone to create an exceptional candidate experience. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source, Recruit, and onboard contractors for the client’s open positions.
  • Provide customer support services to the specified client(s) by efficiently processing new orders for Contract Labor services.
  • Work with contractors on a regular basis to resolve any employment-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot employee service issues and follow up in a timely manner
  • Obtain referrals of candidates and position openings from employees and customers.
  • Track causes of employee turnover and finds methods for reducing negative turnover.
  • Document all customer & employee activities in the appropriate databases.
  • Work closely with the appropriate account team members while performing these duties and responsibilities.
  • Work closely with other departments and as a team member when required.
  • Engage in regular safety training, be familiar with safety policies and procedures at client sites, promote a culture of safety at branch offices and at client locations
  • Comply with all safety rules established

  • Coordinate, attend and carry out career fairs
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma – prefer some college or on-the-job staffing experience in lieu of college.

Experience

  • At least three (3) years of related work experience. Previous roles would consist of; recruiter, recruiter assistant, on-site coordinator, staffing specialist, recruitment coordinator

Skills

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of people, which includes listening and understanding, as well as conveying ideas and opinions in writing.
  • Able to develop good relationships with various types of people
  • Able to handle conflict well.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Experience sourcing and onboarding new employees. Staffing industry experience in the professional, light industrial or skilled trades labor category is desired

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently sits, walks, and stands.
  • May be required to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds (box of copier paper)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment adjacent to a warehouse/shop floor.
  • The noise level in the work area is usually low.
