POSITION SUMMARY

As an integral part of the team, the Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for creating and deploying successful campaigns to ensure that Acro is well positioned within the talent acquisition industry. Acro seeks an experienced individual to execute the voice of the company through creative and strategic activities. The Corporate Communications Manager will work with Acro leadership on both day-to-day activities as well as long-term strategies. This role oftentimes will work with each Acro division to analyze business conditions and distill business concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, informing internal and external clients of changes in both the client’s industry and the human capital industry.  

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategies and tactics to increase Acro’s exposure within the human resource and talent acquisition industry.
  • Align Acro with the appropriate industry associations to ensure Acro and its clients are abreast of changes within the talent acquisition industry.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry stakeholders to ensure Acro is out in front of the competition.
  • Develop and deploy successful campaigns through social media, print, and other online channels.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for the company’s website, online social media presence, and blogs, with the goal to attract and convert target groups into clients.
  • Oversee, develop and approve communications, from online content to hard copy brochures and case studies.
  • Assist with proposal writing and development when needed.
  • Maintain and refine Acro’s presentation material to include reviewing and editing all presentations (MS PowerPoint) when required.
  • Work with Acro divisional leadership to customize and maintain business review material.
  • Work in a fast-paced matrixed organization with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Develop, refine and maintain training material used across all Acro service lines.
  • Analyzes existing data and information as well as historical trends in order to provide early insights into best practices and new trends that guarantee data quality.
  • Conduct proactive and timely research to assist account and sales teams in their efforts to provide detailed analysis and solutions related to changing business conditions.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of company communications and campaigns including timelines, internal and external deliverable due dates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of Acro’s CRM to include instructing sales team members on how best to leverage the tool, set up dashboards, and run reports.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5-8 years experience in business writing, proposal writing, communications, media relations, or related field with a focus on service-related solutions.
  • 1-2 years experience in the staffing, talent acquisition, or human resource industry.

Skills

  • Experience in drafting communication materials,  technical reports, critical business correspondence, business proposals, and persuasive documents.  
  • Ability to organize complex information for effective presentations.
  • Ability to understand and distill high-level business topics and follow trends in the global economy.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of how communications effectuate branding, positioning, and messaging strategies.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and spoken communications skills, including the ability to interact effectively with high-level business leaders and people at all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at a swift pace, manage multiple projects simultaneously, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use databases and work with basic financial information.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn and use new programs easily.
  • Must have the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Skills testing may be required.
  • Ability to take direction and complete tasks professionally, accurately, and efficiently.

 

 

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • A GPA of 3.6 or higher is highly desired.
  • Master’s degree and high academic achievement

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in the staffing, talent acquisition, or human resources industry.
  • Experience in utilizing business intelligence software such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SAP Crystal Reports, and similar platforms.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently sits, walks, and stands.
  • May be required to occasionally lift up to 10-20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work area is usually low.
