Job Description
Salary: $15 hourly
ACME Precision Diesel is a diesel repair shop subsidiary of ACME Logistics located in Greer, SC focused on providing timely, quality repair services to diesel fleets across South Carolina and the Southeast.

Job Description:
- Writing estimates for services including shop personnel feedback and follow up for customer approval
- Generating and distributing accurate, timely invoices to clients for services rendered
- Utilizing three C’s method (Condition, Cause, Correction) in invoicing process
- Managing accounts receivable, including monitoring customer accounts, processing payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
- Following up on overdue payments and managing collections efforts.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
- Reconciling billing discrepancies and collaborating with other departments to resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any billing-related issues.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial closing processes related to billing and accounts receivable.
- Creating and maintaining reports related to billing and accounts receivable for management review.
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
- Inputting invoicing and billing data in fleet maintenance software
Qualifications:
- High School Degree Required
- Proven work experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role, preferably in a diesel repair maintenance facility or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of billing principles, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Familiarity in using billing and accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing billing records and documentation.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive billing and financial information.
