HOURLY RATE: DOE; $15.00 to $19.50 per hour
SCHEDULE: full-time, 40 hours per wk
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Achieve Center is currently seeking a full-time medical administrative assistant to work in our fast-growing outpatient, pediatric multi-disciplinary clinic.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Major responsibilities and activities include: customer service, patient accounts, correspondence with offices of medical providers and insurance companies, monthly and weekly reports, filing, and other back office administrative responsibilities; complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED: Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to type 40+ WPM; possess good oral / written communication skills; ability to work with people; ability to multitask.
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED: two plus years work experience as a medical administrative assistant or medical billing clerk preferred.
