Working Project Supervisor-Restoration ( Commercial & Residential ) Accurate Construction – Torrance, CA Job Type: Full Time **Restoration Construction Experience as a Supervisor, Emergency Services Management Needed** Accurate Construction is a licensed General Building & Engineering Contractor in the Property Damage & Restoration Industry. We are a full service provider seeking a Commercial/Residential Project Supervisor with project experience in the area of Retail, Office, Restaurant, light Industrial properties including Commercial build-outs, Interior remodeling, Tenant build-outs and ground-up Residential construction. Whether a project entails renovating an occupied interior space or building new from the ground up, Accurate Construction will deliver on-time, on-budget results that meet exact specifications without cutting corners. Our Company is looking for a Leader who is resourceful and self-driven. Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, and organized Working Project Supervisor (with a desire to grow and succeed) to help manage our expanding work, help us grow existing clients, and develop new ones. These projects can be fast-paced, detailed, and high demanding. Therefore, they require strong organization and time management skills. We want our team members to succeed and provide long term potential with a growing company. It is an opportunity to work with different clients (Property Managers, Adjusters, Claims & Risk Managers, Building Engineers, Facility Managers, throughout Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire) and add your mark. Summary of Responsibilities: Utilize the necessary phone skills to proactively obtain and entice subcontractors to bid the job and to obtain and negotiate the best prices and performance. Must be resourceful! Manage all aspects of construction projects from estimate to pre-construction to project close-out (with the assistance of a project coordinator) Create Checklists for each job that ensures complete Customer Satisfaction. Communicate effectively and positively with team members, our customers, and their clients. Keep documentation of any and all communications with all persons involved on each job. Hire and manage Sub-contractors and lead buy out, produce submittals and subcontracts. Management of production crews and communication of daily project progress Review and submit bills for processing in accordance with individual job budgets. Monitor compliance with all applicable federal, state and local government job site codes and requirements. (Permits and inspections) Stay in constant contact with customers concerning daily job schedule, individual customer selections, and tentative completion date. Required/Preferred Skills: 3 to 5 years minimum experience in commercial/Residential interiors construction and ground up experience a plus. Interiors commercial construction experience or commercial construction experience in either as an APM Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently Excellent interpersonal communication skills that builds trust and rapport A proactive person, that promptly responds to clients to job demands. Ability to build relationships within internal groups, external groups, and most importantly clients Advanced and proficient in current technologies (i.e. Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, Digital Photography, Xactimate, Reading Blueprints) Required education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Compensation: In addition to a casual, family atmosphere, we promote a work–life balance.
