Accudyne Engineering is seeking an Electrial Engineer with PLC Programming experience to join our team!
Candidates should have 2-5 years experience and a proven track record in design, programming and testing of industrial machinery. Entry level may be considered for the right candidate. Electrical engineering degree BSEE and/or equivalent technical experience is required. Successful candidate must be able to utilize sound engineering principles coupled with a creative approach to produce control system designs, electrical schematic diagrams and electrical panel layouts for our manufacturing shop. Candidates should be proficient in Solidworks or Autocad for design and 2D detail drawings.
The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the design of electrical control systems for large scale industrial equipment projects. This includes calculations, component selection, panel and enclosure layouts, PLC programming, HMI configuration and shop start-up.
We are a vertically integrated company that manufactures, integrates and tests in our shop all of the systems you will be involved in, so you will have "Hands On" interaction with every project.
Successful candidate must have familiarity with NEC, UL, NFPA and CE manufacturing standards. For entry level applicants, you will be trained to adhere to these manufacturing codes. Ideal candidate should have a proven record of hands on experience and field commissioning of PLC based control systems for industrial equipment.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience presenting and explaining engineering designs for both current and potential customers.
Experienced applicants should be proficient with design and programming of control systems utilizing Allen Bradley PLC's (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and various HMI/SCADA packages. Again, entry level applicant will receive training for programming this hardware and are expected to become proficient in a short time frame.
We are looking for a key individual with field commissioning experience and demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Ideal candidate would be familiar with control of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Travel for project installations is required and perhaps can be both domestically and internationally, but this represents only 5-10% of your time. The majority of your time will be at our facility.
This is not a contract position. Rather, we are looking for a creative, productive detailed oriented engineer to be a long term addition to our engineering staff.
