Hands-on sales management position responsible for all direct sales activities for a national government/nonprofit accounting/ERP software company. The position will coordinate with the Channel Sales Manager to coordinate lead handling.
This is an active position where the person is responsible for cold calls, demonstrations, closing sales, maintaining sales materials, participating in trade shows, and supporting other sales staff and partners. The Direct Sales Manager will participate in providing strategic direction and planning for the sales process. This position will also guide email and direct mail marketing activities, as well as being very comfortable with current social media marketing processes.
Successful candidate will have at least 3 years of sales experience, and familiarity with nonprofit and government software solutions. Direct fund raising and/or nonprofit accounting experience is an added plus. The Direct Sales Manager will report to our office in Needham, MA but work remotely. This position will travel as required to support sales activities. At least a bachelor’s degree is required, and experience in the market is most essential. Experience utilizing the SalesForce CRM product is an added plus.
