Accounting Principals is assisting our East Hanover, New Jersey client in their search for a Senior Accountant.  This will be a long term temporary position lasting anywhere from six to nine months.

Job Description:

• Preparing and posting Journal Entries
• Handling chargebacks
• Headcount analysis
• Quarterly account analysis
• Fringe analysis 
• Loading Financial statements into the reporting tool
• Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports
• Budget Analysis
• Accrual Account analysis
• Bank and Account reconciliations
• Ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency (pivot tables, v look ups)
• Experience with Hyperion Smartview a plus
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
• Detail oriented
• Deadline driven
