Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking outstanding candidates to join their firm as a full-charge bookkeeper. Services include bookkeeping and general ledger accounting for their small business clients in a variety of industries as well as not-for-profit organizations.
Salary Range will be $45K to $55K annually
Responsibilities:
- Overall maintenance of clients’ books and records
- Preparation of general ledgers and financial statements
- Data entry from source documents
- Bank reconciliations
- Creating and posting journal entries
- Reviewing and recording payroll transactions
- Calculating various accruals, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Making deposits and paying bills
- Overseeing month-end and year-end accounting processes and reconciliations
- Providing data for preparation of Form 199-Misc and other information to support tax return
- Building and maintaining client relationships through direct and frequent communication
- Working in a team environment
- Advanced expertise with QuickBooks; experience with Accounting CS is a plus
- Proficiency with Excel
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or other fast-paced business with responsibility for multiple clients
- Excellent time management and task organization skills
- Attention to details and deadlines
- Ability to work accurately, thoroughly, and confidentially
- Associate degree or higher is preferred; will consider candidates progressing toward degree
- Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
