Accounting Principals is actively seeking an experienced Accountant in Albuquerque, NM. This position is on-site. This role is for candidate who is skilled in all levels of bookkeeping and in-house accounting, including A/P, A/R, Payroll Tax Reports, cash management and tax planning. Candidate also must be proficient in QuickBooks and have a BA in Accounting or at least 10 years high level bookkeeping experience if not degreed. Company offers generous benefits and paid holidays. Salary is $45k a year.
Responsibilities
- Completing analysis of the company expenditures
- Managing income and expenditure accounts
- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
- Completing financial statements and tax planning
- Completing a complex range of tasks independently, including meeting multiple monthly deadlines
- Very responsible and can take ownership
- Detail oriented and meticulous to execute projects in a consistent manner
- Has a take charge personality
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude towards clients and co-workers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; not afraid to ask questions
- BA in Accounting plus 5 years bookkeeping experience or at least 10 years high level bookkeeping experience if not degreed.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel
