A local financial institution is seeking an efficient Full Time Bank Teller to join their team on a temporary to full time basis. The Full Time Bank Teller will report directly to the Branch Manager. Full Time Bank Teller job responsibilities include; - Processing cash advances, travelers’ checks, cashiers’ checks, money orders, government bonds, and similar transactions. - Disbursing cash or check share withdrawals in person, by telephone, or by mail. - Processing transfers. - Opening and closing computer terminal accounts daily. Processing assigned cash and transactions and balances at end of day. - Verifying transactions. Monitoring deposit amounts, and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly. - Ensures that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved. - Provides in person, by telephone, or by mail, such information as members may authorize concerning their account status. - Opens and processes new member accounts and changes to existing accounts. - Assists members with credit/debit card issues. - Maintains privacy of member account information. - Assists area personnel as required. - Keeps supervisor informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns. - Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly. - Attends meetings as required. - Performs drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned. - Cross-sells products and services. - Ensures that work area is clean, well maintained, and secure. - Completes other duties as assigned.
