Manufacturing Engineer (Various Levels of Experience to be considered)
Large global firm in central Connecticut is expanding due to growth and are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
Are you a problem solver? The ideal candidate will provide support to the multidisciplinary manufacturing teams which assemble various optical components and sub-assemblies. This role would also be involved with product testing, quality assurance as well as integration. In addition the candidate for consideration will be in charge of the budgeting and estimation process associated with the various projects. Excellent communication both written and orally is required for this role as the candidate will be interacting with different teams within this global company and also be reaching out to outside vendors.
Preparing reports for the company's senior management as it pertains to budgets and project status will be a routine part of this role so communication is again very important with this Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
Requirements for this Role
A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Physics is strongly preferred. Experience with optical measurement systems is also a high preference for this role. The Manufacturing Engineer should be very details and comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
