In this role you will provide quick, efficient and pleasant service of food and beverage to residents and guests ensuring the needs of both are met.
Job DescriptionTo assist in the oversight of daily operations in the kitchen. Works with the Executive Chef to ensure the highest quality food products and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This position may be required to supervise other staff positions. This position will perform the duties of the Executive Chef in his/her absence.
QualificationsLevel of Formal Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Area of Study: Culinary Arts/Hospitality/ General Years of Experience: Mid-level (3-5 years) Type of Experience: Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Special Certifications: SERV-SAFE Certified or equivalent, Obtain/hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates Language Skills: Capable of communicating efficiently and properly Technical Competencies: Entry-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, and Word Sous Chef 7/11/18 Skills and Ability: • Basic to advanced cooking and preparation of meal items. • Thorough understanding of service techniques and requirements. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
