JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Support II and Production Printing is responsible for Tier 1-2 helpdesk requests and coordination of all production printing and paper inventory. Candidate has a strong understanding of desktops peripherals, printers, networking, telephony, Active Directory, and Exchange as well as a technical awareness of other enterprise and business systems.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • IT Support II
      • Respond, troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk related tickets in a timely manner
      • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed properly in ticketing system of incident or request progress and notifying them of current and ongoing status
      • Identify proactive ways to reduce the number of issues and support calls in the environment
      • Exercising good judgement when analyzing problems to determine if escalation of support tickets to IT Director as necessary
      • Demonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
      • Troubleshoot computer, printer, networking, telephone and equipment errors and malfunctions
      • Deploy new equipment as system replacements/upgrades or new positions on a regular basis
      • Assist in deploying, maintaining, and supporting network devices and connectivity, servers, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and applications needed
      • Participate in research and development initiatives and aid in the implementation of new technologies
      • Setup meeting spaces requested by management or staff prior to meeting or event with specified equipment, software and/or teleconferencing required by the organizer
      • Monthly auditing and upkeep of IT inventory across the departments of the organization
      • Ensures the computer/equipment room is maintained in a clean and orderly condition
      • Gain and maintain a strong knowledge of current IT technical standards as related to computers, printers, network technology, drivers, software troubleshooting, VPN, Video Teleconference and other related technologies
      • Gain and maintain a strong skillset in the troubleshooting of industry standard hardware and software products/services
    • Production Printer operator
      • Coordinate with Marketing to produce detailed, high quality printed materials in a time sensitive atmosphere
      • Accurately read and interpret ticket requests to determine the type of print job to be done, the quantities to be produced and the materials needed
      • Upkeep paper inventory including purchasing, retrieving, lifting and storage of necessary paper stock
      • Print, seal; and drop off company invoices monthly
      • Carry out business card orders and other production print jobs for staff and management
      • Maintain accurate production logs, including work volumes and output, materials used, and jobs completed
      • Deliver and retrieve jobs requiring cutting at vendor location in a timely manner
    • Other Responsibilities
      • Gain a clear and basic knowledge of Access to Healthcare Network services and programs
      • Attend staff meetings and be willing to meet with manager on a consistent and regular basis

      • Be able to stand between 4 - 6 hours per day
      • Be able to sit at a computer for up to 4 - 6 hours per day
      • Be able to withstand hand/wrist deviation and repetition
      • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive the AHN Company Car when needed
      • Must be able to lift, carry up to 60 pounds with a fair consistency
      • Flexibility; Each department selects the hours of work schedule for the department staff based on the department's needs. This schedule may change at any time according to the department's needs.
      • Required to pass a background check through the State of Nevada
      • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications

    • Combination of academic education, professional training or work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position
    • 2+ years of experience interacting with and supporting users of all levels (help desk environment)
    • Ticket system experience
    • Remote support experience
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Excellent organizational skills

    Preferred qualifications

    • Associates level degree or comparable level of certification
    • A+ certification
    • 3+ years of experience interacting with and supporting users of all levels (help desk environment)
    • 2+ tears of ticket system experience
    • 2+ years of remote support experience
    • Production printing experience
    • Experience in the nonprofit sector, healthcare sector, or other related social service sector

work environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and the employee usually works in a climate-controlled office environment
